For Mentor GmbH, think modular implemented a Moodle-based e-learning platform that now serves over 10,000 users and hosts more than 500 courses. The platform replaces and complements the former face-to-face training provision in the field of labour market policy education. It features intuitive navigation, a modular structure, automated certification, and a reporting system for monitoring learner success – fully GDPR-compliant and technically supported by think modular.

From classroom-based training to digital learning environments

MENTOR GmbH is an experienced education provider in the field of labour market policy, offering programmes in career orientation, integration, digital skills and language support.
In collaboration with think modular – digital solutions, this approach has been fundamentally expanded: a Moodle-based learning platform was introduced and successfully established.

Since then, the platform has become an integral part of MENTOR’s educational portfolio – with over 10,000 registered users and around 500 active courses.
Participants benefit from flexible learning opportunities that are independent of time and location.

The intuitive layout and clear course structure ensure that even digitally inexperienced users can navigate the platform with confidence.

think modular was responsible for the implementation, technical setup and ongoing support of the platform. The Moodle environment was specifically tailored to meet the needs of Mentor and its target groups – featuring intuitive navigation, responsive design, and a clearly structured course architecture.

The content ranges from self-paced learning units to tutor-led courses with forums, materials and exercises. Features such as automated certificates, modular course areas and multilingual content provide both structure and flexibility.

The newly implemented reporting system enables targeted quality control and makes learning outcomes measurable and visible.

A key element of the platform is the reporting system implemented by think modular. It provides project managers with insights into course completions, learning progress and user activity – a vital component for quality assurance and funding logic in the context of labour market policy.

Today, the platform is an integral part of Mentor’s service offering and continues to evolve. think modular remains a reliable technical partner in the project – with a strong focus on stability, GDPR compliance, and user-friendly development.
